Today I thought I’d put together some of my favorite quotes. Being a huge reader, I’ve always been a hoarder of words (cleaning out old folders recently, I found handwritten lists I’d written in middle school!).
I’ve posted before about how much this quote by Kiera Cass means to me. So I gave it a place of honor at the top of my list.
This one I found on my Goodreads quotes page. I can’t quite remember when or why I liked it, but I love it so I’m keeping it forever. It’s probably from when I was working on A Legacy Is Infinite.
No matter what you think of Taylor Swift, I think this is a really beautiful quote.
There’s never a bad time to quote JK Rowling, and this one, from shortly after Sirius’ death, really speaks to me as someone with depression.
I have no idea why I saved this or where I stumbled across it (its on my Goodreads Quotes, so there’s honestly no telling, I can waste HOURS on there), but it speaks to me deeply.
I’ve seen this quote floating all over the internet and I LOVE it. One of these days, I’m going to have to read Game of Nightmares just to see what its all about.
I adore Oscar Wilde, and although most of my favorite quotes by him are just funny, this one is really insightful. I saved it a few years ago when I was putting together a presentation for Banned Books Week, the theme of which was “Caution: Contains Ideas.”
I unashamedly love everything Disney. So I had to include at least one Disney quote.
This one is last, because it’s a bit darker than the others. If you haven’t seen M*A*S*H, the show it comes from, then you’re majorly missing out.
